April 19, 2011: Xgravity's to Develop Online Arts Directory for UVa Academy for Civic Renewal
Xgravity has been selected to develop a custom FileMaker / PHP-based solution that will power an online arts directory to support the University of Virginia's "Arts, Culture and Humanities" (ACH) project. The ACH is designed to bring together and enhance the capacity of the arts, multi-cultural, and humanities community of Southern Virginia and Caswell County, North Carolina. Under the direction of UVa's Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service, Academy for Civic Renewal, and in partnership with the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities, the collaborative will develop and implement comprehensive, targeted programs designed to expand programmatic and leadership opportunities in the arts, culture and humanities in the region.

September 24, 2010: South African Audio Archive Web Site Launched
The South African Audio Archive web site, a non-profit project that Xgravity has developed for flatinternational, was launched today. The site is dedicated to establishing a visual archive of rare and sometimes unusual South African audio documents as artifacts. The aim of the project is to provide a searchable database as a resource for those researching South African audio history.

The site is powered by a custom FileMaker Pro database, and integrated with web using PHP.

August 16, 2010: Xgravity Selected to Develop New UVa Subscriber Management System
Xgravity has been chosen by the University of Virginia's Institute for Advanced Studies in Culture to develop the next generation of their subscriber management system. The system will be used to manage various aspects of the Institute's publications (including The Hedgehog Review, including subscribers, contributors, inventory, and more.


August 12, 2010: Xgravity Selected to Develop Medical Record Auditing Solution
Xgravity has been selected by Salisbury, NC-based Health Management Resources to develop "System for Improved Medical Record Accuracy" (SIMRA), a FileMaker-based system that will assist the company's auditors with the collection, analysis, and reporting of medical billing data.

We are pleased to announce the launch of the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS)'s new corporate Web site, www.unos.org. This group "provides products and services that are crucial for the functioning of many government entities with an ever expanding role in key policy decisions within and outside the commonwealth." The database being developed will be used to track contact information, publications, project information, and more.

August 28, 2009: Xgravity Tapped for Printable / Logic Integration Project
Xgravity has been selected by Springfield Printing Corporation, a North Springfield, Vermont-based marketing and communications firm to provide integration between the company's Printable and Logic systems. The solution will consist of a custom PHP and Microsoft SQL Server system that will pull data from Printable via the Printable API, and integrate that data with the company's existing Logic system, providing a single source for all job ticket information.


August 27, 2009: UNOS Online Store Launched
We're pleased to announce the launch of the new UNOS Online Store, an online store for the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS). Located in Richmond, Virginia, UNOS is a non-profit, scientific and educational organization that administers the nation's only Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN), established by the U.S. Congress in 1984. The new online store provides individuals and healthcare professionals with a convenient, secure way to purchase UNOS-branded products, educational products, and more. August 10, 2009: Mindful Clinician Project Web Site Launched
Xgravity is pleased to announce the launch of a new Web site in support of the Mindful Clinician Project, a research study being performed by the Virginia Commonwealth University's Department of Social and Behavioral Health. The study is designed to enhance clinician communication with patients near the end of life and their families and to improve clinician quality of life. The website, which was developed using FileMaker Pro and PHP, is available only to study participants. Through the site, participants are able to perform exercises, listen to audio meditations, provide feedback, and more.


July 7, 2009: Donate Life America Online Store Launched

Donate Life America (DLA) was founded by the transplant community in 1992 to educate the public about organ, eye and tissue donation. Xgravity is pleased to announce the launch of a new, interactive Web site that is dedicated to connecting people affected by organ, eye, and tissue donation. The site was developed for Donate Life America, which was founded by the transplant community in 1992 to educate the public about organ, eye and tissue donation and to avoid duplication of effort.

The site offers the community news, compelling stories, and more. It includes message boards that give patients, receipients, and their families a way to connect, share ideas, and seek and provide support from other members.

The site is powered by Simple Machines Forum, an open source forum software package, which Xgravity has customized.
