About Us

Xgravity is a Richmond, Virginia-based information technology firm that specializes in the design and development of custom database solutions using the FileMaker platform.

The company was formed in 2000 by Tim Dietrich. Tim is a FileMaker 9 & 10 Certified Developer, and is very active in the FileMaker community. He maintains a popular FileMaker blog called FileMaker Addict. His articles have been published in several FileMaker publications, including the popular FMWebSchool Newsletter and in the Third Edition of The Everything Reference. Tim received a Bachelor of Science degree from Towson University, where he majored in Computer Science (with a concentration on information systems).

Tim formed Xgravity so that he could use his strong business experience and technical skills to meet the information technology needs of multiple clients, each with their own unique needs. Since then, Xgravity has worked with organizations of all types and sizes -- from those involved in education to marketing to retail and services. From small, micro-businesses, to fortune 500 companies.

The solutions that Xgravity has developed include inventory management systems, ecommerce-enabled Web sites, content management systems, and more.

Today, Xgravity's goal is unchanged: To help clients use technology to grow their businesses, and build strong relationships with them as a result.
